By the way Graham, thanks for taking the time to set up the group, and being the front man. I do appreciate it.
Also, the Kate WIP is done. I just had to put them together in a group.

No problem Tom. But all the credit should go to you, you're the one who hunted down all those dirt bags and you came up with the evidence they had faked their "drawings".

Can't take all the credit. Navi discovered, and questioned Artlit's Megan Fox, and Straycat confirmed it.

Anyways here's the fake Kate WIP.

Some people might not look too closely at differences between mine, and Eileen's and say I just rearranged hers, but I could counter by pointing out mine is twice the size of Eileen's downloadable WIP, and actually clearer. and the actual pieces are 5 times the size I'm posting here.

Re: IF SPORT ART FAKERS DO NOT TREAD ...

Great work, Tom! I laughed at the title "The Faking of Kate Beckinsale."

I tracked down the person who got The Erik Weisz Group banned, a certain Kichigai-Coz, and sent her the link to your faked WIP. I know it won't make a difference as that member said repeatedly there was no evidence that we could show to change her mind, but I don't really care. I shared some choice words (no profanity, I assure you) and it made me feel better.

Thinking about all of this, I remembered the case awhile back when someone on DA stole one of Brian's drawings and we went after her relentlessly: http://xmomo-kawaiix.deviantart.com/

I had a good laugh looking at all of the comments there, and am amazed that we get banned for providing real evidence of art fraud, yet much more direct harassment seems to be okay. Also note that Momo-Kawaii hasn't logged in since all of the stolen drawings got removed... over 10 months! Well, at least we accomplished one mission.

Also interesting: Momo-Kawaii is a teenaged girl from the UK. Kichigai-Coz is a teenaged girl from the UK.

Perhaps from now on if we're going to pursue anything on DA it should be strictly stolen art. We can still expose the art fakes here, where DA can't touch them.

Hahaha I had a hard time keeping up with it too! It got very intense over the last two days, we got over 1,000 page views in about 50 hours, shot to fame, attracted the attention of a couple of major DA artists, and were shut down permanently before we could even get all of our proof of the fraud posted.

I'm really pissed with that Kichigai-Coz. She's speaking as if she knows everything when in fact she's just 15.
As I've told Tom, girls would normally defend each other, especially the naive ones.
I just hope she won't become a judge in the future and mete out sentences without checking on the evidences.
I'm open to criticisms...keep them coming.

OMG. That's funny crazy. I only read like the first page or two of this thread before I realized it already had 5 pages when last I checked it was on page one.

ALL CREDIT GOES TO YOU, TOM.

I just wished we featured the Erik Weisz account in all our journals for more people to see.

Props to those that got the group up and running and a pity but inevitable it was going to get banned.

By the way, that Kichi girl is currently trying to get me banned for apparently 'harassing' her which is simply hilarious. She doesn't get the fact that I simply respond to her messages as she does to mine. Pesky kids.

If these people put as much effort into drawing as they did to make a fake drawing, they could actually get good.

Re: IF SPORT ART FAKERS DO NOT TREAD ...

After sifting through the charred remains of the Erik Weisz Group, I decided to see if it made any impact on the rubber brush guy.
One of the people who reported the group in defense of Brendan, left kind of a surprising message on Rubber's page.

You're right, that is quite surprising. The interesting thing is, when I was discussing the art fakers with him on some of our deviations, he seemed like the kind of person that at first believed the art fakers were real but would listen to the evidence when it was presented to him. After the group got shut down I found a bunch of comments between him and Kichigai-Coz, and he completely agreed with her that what we were doing was terrible and clearly the art fakers were not faking their art at all. It surprised me that he said that. This new development with him commenting on rubber brush guy seems to confirm what I had though earlier and contradicts his statements to Kichigai-Coz. We didn't even present any evidence against rubber brush guy, he was just featured in our favourites. Strange.

Re: IF SPORT ART FAKERS DO NOT TREAD ...

Rubber brush guy hasn't posted anything on his Michael Angelo Batio drawing in a couple of months. I wondered if he gave up because he realized too many people were on to him?
