zelda drawing

Hi, this is my drawing of princess zelda facing some guards. I haven't sketched anything for a long time, but now I'm taking it up again, and I really want help on improving. so any tip would be really helpful. I took the picture with my cellphone camera, so the quality is low. please give constructive criticism.

Re: zelda drawing

I like the subjects that you have chosen to draw. You have to practice everyday to improve and to be more self confident at drawing lines. Your lines seems like they are put together out of many small discontinued chicken scratches.

Thank you for your comment! Yes, you're right, I should draw everyday if I really want to improve. Chicken scratches? haha, well, I will think about that.

Re: zelda drawing

:) I think by chicken scratches he means there's no continious lines there.... like the back of her leg is made up of two seperate lines that never meet. If all it is is a rough sketch then I can't really say anything but sketches for me are made of REALLY lite lines so you can erase 'em after you put the real ones down ;)
